biography

Oleg Maslov was born in Lgov in 1965. He studied in Penza at the art vocational school named after K. A. Savitsky in 1980-1984. He has been taking part in the art exhibitions since 1985. Oleg Maslov is a participant of the creative units: ‘’The New Wild Ones’’, ‘’New Artists’’, ‘’The Club of Mayakovsky’s Friends’’. He is one of the founders of the New Academy of Fine Arts. He has been working together with Kuznetsov since 1993. He is a professor of the chair of painting at the New Academy of Fine Arts. His works are in the collections of the State Russian Museum, The State Tretiakov Gallery, Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam), a concern ‘’Gasunie’’ (Holland), in private collections of Russia and abroad as well. He lives and works in St. Petersburg.
