biography

Sergey Denisov was born in Perm in 1963. He has been living in St. Petersburg since 1986. In 1987-1989 he studied in the High Art-Industrial Academy named after V. I. Mukhina, the department of monumental-decorative painting. His works have been exhibited since 1988 and had more than 15 personal exhibitions. The project ‘’Entertaining Physics’’ (2005, together with V. Efimov) was nominated in the branch of modern art ‘’Innovation’’ at the State Centre of Modern Art. His works are in the collections of the State Russian Museum, Fondazione Mudima (Milan, Italy) Lonnstromin taidemuseo (Rauma, Finland) and in private collections.
