Art-critic and curator, lives and works in Moscow.
Her professional experience includes lectures on the history of contemporary art at the Moscow State University, the work of a researcher at the State Tretyakov Gallery.
Kikodze led management of the workshops of the National Centre for Contemporary Arts (NCCA), worked as the art director of the fund "Modern City", “Guelman” art gallery director, the curator of the Art Residence "ShargorodRafinad" in Ukraine.
She is currently the art director of the Foundation of Vladimir Smirnov and Konstantin Sorokin.
She is a widely published author of articles and essays on contemporary art.
Over the past 15 years, Evgenia Kikodze curated more than 30 exhibitions in Russia and abroad, such as "Mad twin. In 1993 she did a month internship at the Paris National Gallery «Jeu de Paume» in the framework of the program «Courant d'Est».
1994-1998 - Post-graduate student of the Department of History of Foreign Art at the History Faculty of Moscow State University.
1998-2001 - Employee of the magazine "Art", Moscow.
2001-2002 - The head of creative workshops in the National Centre for Contemporary Art in Moscow.
2002-2004 – Art-director of the Guelman gallery, Moscow.
2005-2006 - Curator in the Contemporary City Foundation, Moscow.
2008-2009 – Art-director of the “Guelman Projects” gallery on Malaya Polyanka. Since 2008 - Curator of Art Residence Shargorod (along with Antonio Dzheuza).
In 1993 she was accepted as a member of the AIS (Association of Art Critics of Russia).
Since 1996 - member of AICA (International Association of Contemporary Art). She teaches the course "Basic artistic strategies in contemporary art” in the School of Rodchenko.
