Lecture series “A public Russian intellectual is searching for self-determination”
Anna Nova Gallery and Open philosophy Faculty are glad to present lecture series “A public Russian intellectual is searching for self-determination” by A.V. Lavruhin.
Author’s course will be on 20th, 27th of the May and on 10th of the June in the Anna Nova gallery. The lectures raise the issue of intellectual’s public role in modern democratic societies, Russia and post-Soviet countries. Starting with the comparative analysis of the history of self-determination and the institutionalization of a public intellectual in European and Russian societies, we focus on today's burning issues.
Andrey Vladimirovich Lavruhin is a member of editorial magazines boards "Yearbook phenomenological philosophy” and “Horizon: phenomenological study” and he has translated authors as Huebner, Guardini , Kraus , Schleiermacher, Gadamer.
