Cheerful Friends 09 Nov 2007 Cheerful friends are summer helpmates of the artist, these are dahlias called ‘’Cheerful Guys’’ growing at his summer cottage not far from Oranienbaum in the settlement Kronshtadt colony. Maslov’s dahlia front garden at the old house is shown in all colours of elegant Petersburg painting at the ‘’World of Art’’ time.

Living and Dead 05 Oct 2007 Petr Shwetsov – an artist who constantly collaborates with the gallery starting with the project ‘’The Head of the Architect’’ (2005). At the exhibition two of his latest works are represented: a fountain with a video, painting and glass-cases with living crickets. A lot of people have remembered it since the installation ‘’Living and Dead’’ constructed by the artist on the stand of the gallery at the fair ‘’Art Moscow – 2007’’. It is shown in the second hall of the gallery. In the first hall one can see a huge picture ‘’Night Watch’’, where Piotr Shwetsov combines Rembrandt with zoological museum.

Panorama. Fragments 15 Jun 2007 Olga Chernyshova shows only a part of her wide art series ‘’Panorama’’ at the third personal exhibition in St. Petersburg. The artist started to work with this series of pictures in 2004. It is dedicated to a Soviet movie house called ‘’Round Panorama’’ that was opened at the exhibition of All Union Achievements of National Economy.

Seventeen Dreams of Joseph Stalin. The Palace of Soviets. The contest of projects 27 Apr 2007 At the exhibition one can see the coloured lithographies of Mikhail Karasik. They are from the album ‘’The palace of Soviets’’. It was printed in 15 numerated copies. The foundation of the artist’s album were the projects of the contest that took place in 1933.

What is happening 13 Apr 2007 What is happening’’ – a painted series created in 2007 by the famous St. Petersburg artist Vladimir Dukhovlinov. The art critic Gleb Ershov writes about the latest works of V. Dukhovlinov: ‘’ Abstract works of the artist combine several approaches of depicting a form. First of all, it is a free plastic automatism existing within a definite emotional motive or coming from sub consciousness of the artist. It reveals in his reserved beginning of expressive calligraphy.

Nine Burning Cars (Neuf Voitures Brulantes) 23 Feb 2007 Masha Zaborovskaya and Andrey Lyublinsky’s project ‘’Nine Burning Cars’’ was thought out and made on the joint point of modern art and design. The well-known events that took place in France a year and a half ago was an impetus to creativity. The dwellers of the Arabic blocks in Paris and other cities plunge a well-off country into fear and trembling. The country was at the edge of the civil war. One of the most effective actions to influence on soothing bourgeois conscience were explosions and arsons of cars.
