Под влиянием случайной находки на блошином рынке я исследую темы памяти и мимолётности.
В центре инсталляции — старая семейная диапозитивная фотография с натюрмортом из красных тюльпанов. Я воспроизвел изображение на холсте, используя только черную и белую краски.
Оригинальный диапозитив проецируется на живопись с помощью старого проектора. Между проектором и холстом — полупрозрачная белая занавеска, колышущаяся от работы вентилятора.
Инсталляция превращается в метафору перехода между двумя мирами — памятью и её реалистичным, но призрачным отражением.
At the center of the installation is an old family slide photograph of a still life with red tulips. I recreated the image on canvas, using only black and white paints.Influenced by a random find at a flea market, I explore the themes of memory and transience.
At the center of the installation is an old family slide photograph of a still life with red tulips. I recreated the image on canvas, using only black and white paints. The original slide is projected onto the painting with the help of an old projector. Between the projector and the canvas is a semi-transparent white curtain, fluttering in the breeze created by the fan. The installation becomes a metaphor for the transition between two worlds-memory and its realistic, yet
ghostly reflection.
