During the exhibition, the pop/off/art gallery space will become a total installation inspired by nature: a ghostly forest, a clay quarry, thickets.
Art objects, videos, sculptures and paintings created specifically for this project will reflect the specifics of Dyakov's authorial approach. He explores the image of man within nature and comes to rethink the material he works with: clay becomes part of the landscape.
The artist's recognizable technique — the use of traces and imprints of his own hands, from which Dyakov "sculpts" a plastic form. In the paintings presented at the exhibition, Piotr integrated volumetric elements, creating an alternative version of sculpture.
The texts, or rather prototexts, that arose in the exhibition inside the works will become a new form of artistic expression. Working with text and a new alphabet inside familiar media led the artist to processes of comprehension and introspection, to a retreat.
