This project is an amazing symbiosis of botany, art and modern technology. "Morphogenesis. Third Nature" demonstrates the hybrid world of natural and artificial, organic and digital, natural and synthetic.
The exhibition covers a wide range of mediums - installations, sculptures, objects, video projection. Hybrid reality becomes here the beginning of a new morphogenesis, on the territory of which the “third nature” is revealed as a space of unpredictable and inevitable mutations.
The exhibition features works by Dmitry Kavarga, an artist with whom we have been collaborating for many years. We are happy to congratulate Dmitry on the fact that this project has taken place and has become his first major solo exhibition in Moscow in the last seven years!
The artist filled the space with sculptures braided with a variety of plants and populated with exotic insects. Everything sprouts in each other, lives inside and changes. But what are these sculptures, where did they come from and why did they come to be here and now, to meet the plants and animals? Why did they want to become one with the real living?
