The publication was created as part of the exhibition "Performance in Russia: Cartography of History", conducted by the Garage Museum of Modern Art in 2014. This research project, dedicated to performance as an expressive form of conceptual art, focuses on the importance of Russian performance in an international artistic context. Among the artists represented are Chaim Sokol and Andrey Kuzkin.
