Anubis is a creature that I have been trying to incorporate an element of mutation into. It is alamb that has begun to take on characteristics of a dog or another more predatory animal. Itsfront legs are fragile, while its back legs appear to be mutated and fused together.This piece is inspired by an Egyptian statuette. It is completely hollow, what can be seenthrough the eyes. I have deliberately added shimmering metallic powder to the wax to createa ritualistic efect.
