‘Focus: Photography’ is the latest instalment in the gallery's series of annual exhibitions dedicated to different media. This year, the focus has shifted to photography — current trends and its place in contemporary art. The exhibition has become a space for dialogue between established and emerging artists.
Among the participants is documentary photographer Dmitry Markov, an artist represented by the Anna Nova Gallery.
‘For every horror, there is a person ready to face it or work with it,’ Markov said.
Anna Nova Gallery provided five works by Dmitry Markov: ‘Cool,’ ‘Olkhon Island,’ ‘Kerch,’ ‘Sebezh,’ and ‘Pskov.’
The exhibition is open until 5 December 2025.
