First museum exhibition of artist Mikhail Levius

February 27 – April 26, 2026 | pop/off/art × Anna Nova Gallery | Krasnoyarsk, Museum Center “Ploshchad Mira”

On February 26 the Museum Center “Ploshchad Mira” in Krasnoyarsk will open the first museum exhibition of artist Mikhail Levius organized by pop / off / art gallery in collaboration with Anna Nova Gallery.

The exhibition project "Long Shot" brings together works from the artist’s solo projects as well as pieces from public and private collections. It will also feature works created by Levius specifically for this exhibition.

According to curator Alisa Nikolaeva, Levius’s practice is rooted in a cinematic mode of perception. “The viewer is confronted with an array of works depicting various urban landscapes and unconsciously adopts the position of an outsider — a tourist or a passerby. The attempt to grasp a fixed narrative shifts the viewer’s attention toward other signs and symbols that repeatedly emerge within the work. Levius dismantles the idea of a fixed meaning showing that reality is merely a game of searching for elusive traces.”

More information about the project is available on the website of the Museum Center “Ploshchad Mira”.
