The exhibition focuses on the themes of anxiety, vulnerability and the search for stability in a changing world, reflecting on art as a means of capturing historical and personal experiences.
The exhibition is curated by Alexandr Dashevsky, a St. Petersburg-based artist, art critic and co-founder of the independent experimental space «NeNeMu».
The exhibition includes over 100 works by Russian artists from four generations from post-war modernism and nonconformism to contemporary art from the private collection of Denis Khimilyayne.
At the center of the project is not the personality of the collector, not individual names or artistic trends but a range of sustainable themes through which representatives of different generations comprehend reality.
The exhibition captures an important trend in recent years – the growing interest in Russian art and the development of private collecting as a significant institution capable of preserving and updating artistic heritage in a changing cultural context.
The exhibition is open until July 31
Address: Liteiny Prospekt, 62
