In her new project, Anna Andrzhievskaia reimagines the space of Tangent Projects, transforms the Tangent Projects to mimic its neighbour, Condis. The supermarket ruins strip away any sense of sanctity or the feel of a pristine "cabinet of curiosities," turning the space instead into a liminal repository of mundane, unremarkable objects.
The space itself becomes an independent medium for artistic expression. Rather than serving merely as a place to display artworks, it evokes either a bankrupt, abandoned establishment or a new store still undergoing renovation.
