Anna Nova Gallery presents a large-scale exhibition project called 'The Format Has Changed' will open in Nizhny Novgorod, bringing together the teams of St. Petersburg's leading gallery, Anna Nova, and the dreamlaser company.
This experimental exhibition creates a polyphonic statement about the boundaries of media and their ability to transform at the intersection of artistic and technological practices.
The project's central focus is not the object, but the process of transition. It will explore transitions from the archive to a renewed form, from screen perception to bodily experience, and from a saved file to an actual event in space. Art objects, video installations, and advanced media technologies will transform the TSEH* venue into a space where the traditional boundaries of art are erased.
The exhibition will present works by twelve well-known Russian artists with whom the Anna Nova Gallery has a long and interesting history of collaboration.
